Peter van Kranenburg (Meertens Institute, KNAW), pilot leader of ORGANS and TUNES, is part of the upcoming AVA_Net webinar on connecting music collections.
How can you connect your music collection with researchers, creators, music lovers or other collections? What is involved and what helps you to make these connections? The Dutch network for Audiovisual heritage professionals (AVA_Net) dives into these questions and offers an inspiration and Q&A session on ongoing projects. Peter van Kranenburg shows how to connect musical collections to other collections with use of linked open data and knowledge graphs, and introduces the Polifonia pilot ORGANS to illustrate the process of building a knowledge graph from source to end result. Besides Polifonia, the webinar also includes the Poparchief Groningen and the Nederlandse Jazz Archief.
The webinar is in Dutch and free to attend on 14 March 2023 at 1pm CET. Register here to receive the Zoom link.
