“Each beat is an exploding world, piercing deep within and expanding to encompass everything. Movement is connective and collective. I perceive myself as a body made of bodies, free from the constraints of flesh.”
ROBOT Festival is an annual event based in Bologna, Italy, celebrating the merging of electronic music, visual art and digital culture. The festival focuses on presenting innovative musical performances, digital art exhibitions, interactive installations, workshops and conferences related to digital culture and electronic art.
This year the ROBOT’s Manifesto addresses simultaneously the past, the present and the future. Recalling history aims materialize the crisis scenario of the present to project people towards future alliances on the dancefloor.
Europe’s cultural heritage hides a goldmine of unknown encounters, influences and practices that can transport people to experience the past, understand the music they love and imagine the soundtrack of their future. Polifonia will enhance this vision with the talk ‘Artificial intelligence at the service of music’ held by Valentina Presutti, Coordinator of the Project.
The talk is on Saturday, Oct, 14 at 6pm. The entrance is free, but registration is required. Visit the website of the festival for more details about the talk and to find out more about the rest of the program.
