CNAM team welcomes PhD researcher in the FACETS pilot
Talented PhD candidate Tiange Zhu is on board

The Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers welcomes Tiange Zhu to conduct a PhD research funded by the Polifonia project. Tiange’s study is part of the FACETS pilot of Polifonia. In particular, it focuses on extracting information from musical scores to build a faceted search engine. This is a great step forward for digital score libraries, since it will facilitate the exploration of large collections.
Tiange Zhu completed her BSc in Computer Science at Fudan University in Shanghai before obtaining a MSc in Sound and Music Computing from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
