Polifonia’s project leader Valentina Presutti (University of Bologna) is one of the 4 keynote speakers at the upcoming edition of ICAART 2023.

On Friday 24 February, Presutti will share insights into AI application in relation to knowledge representation. Despite the ethical and social issues, AI applications in the creative domains (e.g., generative AI, music recommendation systems), in educational contexts, in supporting the human creative process, in musicological or historical research, have reached impressive performances. Presutti will build on this positive development without losing sight of existing issues and supports her position by presenting examples from the Polifonia research project. In Polifonia, large knowledge graphs of musical heritage are created and experimentations with applications that benefit from them plays a major role.

The keynote speech takes place in Lisbon Marriott Hotel (Portugal) from 17:30 – 18:30 CET and can be followed through Zoom. Find the conference timetable here.
