Polifonia presents at the 2021 Music Encoding Conference in Alicante

Polifonia members participated in this year’s Music Encoding Conference hosted by the University of Alicante, 19-22 July. Polifonia researchers gave four short lightning talks in the online public meeting organised by Music Encoding Initiative Linked Data Interest Group (MEI Linked Data IG) about Linked Data and music encodings approaches. The talks include:
- A modal tonal ontology based on the theory of Praetorius (1619) (Christophe Guillotel-nothmann)
- SPARQL Anything, in particular MEI scores (Enrico Daga)
- Some thoughts on the addressability of MEI elements to facilitate scholarly annotation (Thomas Bottini)
- The case for the modeling of a music (content) infoset (Philippe Rigaux)
